3 MYTHS ABOUT BUYING PRE-OWNED
On the fence about buying a pre-owned Buick or GMC vehicle? Many drivers are hesitant to invest in pre-owned models because of misinformation they’ve heard, but we want to set the record straight here at Patriot Buick GMC. These three myths in particular shouldn’t be believed when it comes to buying pre-owned.
Myth #1: Pre-Owned Buick Vehicles Aren’t Built to Last
While we can’t speak for other dealerships, the pre-owned cars we sell at Patriot Buick GMC are thoroughly inspected for reliability and durability. We don’t just want you to sell you a car; we want to make sure it serves you and your family well for years to come. That’s why you can count on every pre-owned vehicle in our inventory to be of the highest quality.
Myth #2: Pre-Owned Cars Aren’t Worth It
Do you know how quickly new vehicles depreciate? Depending on the car you choose, you could experience a tremendous amount of depreciation in the first four years of owning your vehicle.
While new models are fantastic, it often makes more sense to go with an older model, financially speaking. If, for example, you go with a pre-owned car that is four years old, you basically get to avoid a good chunk of that depreciation.
Myth #3: You Can’t Trust a Pre-Owned Car
All of the pre-owned cars we sell are high-quality vehicles. However, if you want even more peace of mind, you can choose a certified pre-owned model from our inventory as well.
Certified pre-owned cars have to pass a 172-point inspection in order to be called certified. They also come with two warranties: a six-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and a one-year/12,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. Both warranties have a $0 deductible and are accompanied by CARFAX® vehicle history reports and 24/7 emergency roadside assistance.
If you’re still not sure whether you should buy a pre-owned vehicle, come down to our dealership near Pottstown to see our inventory in person.
