Off-Roading

If you’re looking for a vehicle that will make it easy to explore rough terrain, the GMC Yukon is perfect. The AT4 trim in particular is an excellent off-roader. In addition to its standard four-wheel drive, you will also get hill descent control, skid plates, and a two-speed transfer case. You can also add a limited slip differential and an adaptive air suspension system.

By contrast, the Chevy Tahoe doesn’t have the off-road chops of the GMC Yukon and is best left to paved streets only.

Space

The GMC Yukon has an enormous interior. If you go with benches for the first two rows, you will be able to fit nine people inside. All rows are extremely comfortable and spacious, so even adults won’t feel cramped sitting in the rear. Power-adjustable front seats and cloth upholstery are standard, and heated and ventilated front seats and leather upholstery are available.

The Chevy Tahoe is also a three-row SUV, but its back row isn’t as roomy as the back row in the GMC Yukon. It will also only accommodate up to eight people.

Technology

You’ll get lots of standard tech features in the GMC Yukon, including the user-friendly 10.2-inch infotainment touchscreen. Other built-in components include:
